Since qualifying as an Open Water Diver in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean at Sodwana Bay, the premier diving spot in South Africa, Daniela Marchesi has become addicted to diving and blowing bubbles!
Maybe it was swimming with a whale shark on her first ever ocean dive or swimming with ragged tooth sharks in a tank in Cape Town, but either way she has been determined to progress with her new found passion.
After her return to the UK, she completed her Advanced Open Water course, though having to master the art of bracing in the cold waters of Stoney Cove, was somewhat different to the tropical waters she had become accustomed to!
Until the next trip, you will often spot her hovering at the bottom of the local swimming pool seeking out those lesser known plasters,that is when she’s not writing about it!
