About Travel Dive

Travel Dive started exactly between Perhentian Island and the main land on a speed boat in 2003, having dived around the Perhentian Islands for 2 weeks I knew I wanted to talk about my underwater experiences and share with them my wonder. To be honest not all of it was positive, the Dive Centre in the Deluxe resort was rubbish, the food was also rubbish and the corals were bleached.

BUT, we discovered better food and places to visit and I felt I could share these experiences with other people. This was before mySpace and Facebook, there was nowhere for me to share information with other people from far flung places. We hope you like reading about peoples experiences and we invite you to get involved and share your passion.

This site is dedicated to the Friendship I had with my good friend Roan Lavery who helped make Travel Dive what it is!
